Meet the Team
Paul Kweheria; Founder & CEO
Paul is a financial services expert who has worked in the financial and development sector for over 19 years across Eastern Africa. He has broad team leadership and project management experience in Inclusive Finance - particularly focusing on agribusiness finance, smallholder finance and digital financial services. He most recently led the NUTEC Financial services program in Uganda that lent over US$9 million to agribusinesses in partnership with a regional bank.

He previously led AgriFin Accelerate in Tanzania and MobiGro in Kenya. Paul now runs a project management and consulting firm, Quad Tee Corporation that focuses on Financial Inclusion, Digital and Innovative Finance and Climate Finance. Clients include Mercy Corps Agrifin, MC Ventures, Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Equity Bank Young Africa works.
Rose Kariuki; Founder & COO
Mrs. Rose Kariuki is the co-founder of Quad Tee Corporation Limited. Rose is a seasoned banker with a career spanning over 12 years.
Rose began her career with KCB Limited as a Management Trainee in 2004. She was tasked with establishing a fully functional Internal Communications department to ensure the over 4,000 staff members had proper information to enhance efficiency. She later led a team to operationalize the Corporate Service department for the bank before leaving to support her husband and family venture into the East African region.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing & Business Administration) from Daystar University, Nairobi, Kenya.
Anna Thorne; Senior Associate
Anna is Quad Tee’s Reporting and Communications Associate. She has several years of experience in the development sector and is well-versed in writing reports for established organisation such as the UNHCR, Oxfam and Mercury Phoenix Trust. Anna is skilled at gathering and collating content from the field, with a thirst for finding the story to share with donors and important stakeholders. Her role is instrumental in communicating a broad and meaningful picture of Quad Tee’s business, market position, strategy, performance and future prospects. She is passionate about the Agricultural sector, specifically enabling female farmers to gain access to financial literacy training.
Anna is working alongside Quad Tee’s Chief Operating Officer to manage the internal and external communications of the firm, ensuring that our clients, partners and team are at the forefront of the Agri-finance space. She holds a Master of Arts in French from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
Jesse Muraya; Digital Expert
Jesse Muraya has also contributed to the development and implementation of a training program for the Platform Economy with Quad Tee for FSD (Financial Sector Deepening) Uganda. He played a crucial role in developing a comprehensive curriculum for Platform Economy for FSD Uganda, catering to over 40 students from the Banking, Fintech, and Agritech sectors. Jesse conducted training sessions on the Platform Economy, covering a range of topics such as 2 sided marketplaces, platform business models, and platform technologies, among others. He assessed students' learning progress, providing feedback to improve their understanding of the Platform Economy and its implications for their respective sectors. His expertise in this field has been invaluable in shaping the future of the financial and technological landscape in Uganda and beyond.
With hands-on experience in entrepreneurship training, platform business models, business development, digital transformation, operations, and finance, Jesse is well-equipped to offer guidance and support to startups and businesses alike. He holds an MSc. in International Financial Services from the University of Buckingham (UK) and is an alumnus of the Strathmore Business School (Kenya). Jesse is a firm believer in how technology can be used to positively impact lives and businesses around us, with a special focus on Africa.
Ronald Musisi; Agri-Finance Expert
Ronald is an Agri-finance expert with experience in commercial banking and the development sector. He brings in speciality in the areas of agribusiness analysis, direct lending to agribusinesses with a specific focus to SMEs and MSMEs, agribusiness relationship management at a lenders level and deep understanding of the different financing options for agricultural value chains. Served as Portfolio Manager on the FCDOs NUTEC FS and USAIDs APOLUO Activity program, leading on business development, monitoring and partner relationship management for Equity Bank Centenary bank and Micro finance support centre Uganda.​

Ronald is an agriculture specialized Banking Professional with a demonstrated commercial banking experience with two local commercial banks in Uganda, Centenary bank and Opportunity Bank Uganda spanning 7 years of service at different farming communities notably the Fruit farmers of Eastern Uganda specialising in Onion, Tomatoes, Irish potatoes and carrots.

Ronald is Passionate about Farmer and youth financing as a sustainable tool to uplift livelihoods of the people through linkage with external financiers.
Daniel Musoke; Monitoring & Learning Advisor
Daniel is a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Practitioner, passionate about environmental conservation and access to finance initiatives. He previously worked at NU-TEC Financial services programme, implemented by Mercy Corps where he successfully set up and managed the MEL system under the NUTEC Credit Guarantee Fund or Line (Risk Sharing Fund) reaching a value of over US$ 9 million in 3 years. Prior he also worked with Agricultural Business Initiative (aBi), Independent Development Fund (IDF) and the Red Cross where he managed MEL activities.

Daniel offers expertise in programme management, designing and implementation of MEL systems, Programme evaluation, financial inclusion and data analytics with a systems thinking and results-oriented approach. He is currently engaged as an Insights and Learning advisor for Quad Tee Corporation. This role sees Daniel undertaking programme management, insights and learning activities across programme areas, to ensure value addition across Quad Teee, a broad network of partners.
Maxwell Muhanda; Software & Web Advisor
Maxwell Muhanda is a passionate and self-taught full-stack web developer based in Kenya. His skills include Vue, Nuxt, Django, Flask, and AWS, and he has experience in web SEO and social media marketing. His goal is to deliver high-quality code and great user experiences in every project he undertakes.
